Cultural center to host photo exhibition

YOGYAKARTA: A photo exhibition showcasing the works of some 40 prominent French photographers will open this Saturday and run through November 18 at Jogja Gallery.
Organized by Yogyakarta's French Cultural Centre (LIP) as part of its Mois de la Photo (Photography Month) program, the exhibition will present 87 photos of renowned photographers Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Jan Auvigne, Jean-Philippe Charbonnier, William Klein, Keiichi Tahara and Eugene Atget, among others.
LIP director Marie Le Sound said the exhibit, titled Objectif Paris, will focus on the history of photography in Paris. Y--JPY
