This Month’s Accessories
Designer Priyo Oktaviano recently showed his new collection accompanied by an array of striking accessories, all larger than usual. The shoes are high heeled and thick soled, although thankfully there was no repeat of Naomi Campbell’s much-shown pratfall when she wore similar shoes a few years back during a Vivienne Westwood show.

Bracelets come in two shapes, round and oval, both worn together and again oversize. So if you want to be the center of attention at the party, keep the attire simple and bask in the reflected glory from your accessories.

Also with shoes on his mind, designer Tri Handoko offers elegant and beautiful maroon velvet wedged shoes. Now shoe lovers are really spoilt for choice.

The New Venue

There is yet another boutique to keep you poised on style’s cutting edge. For it seems that in
Jakarta, already home to a number of international boutiques, enough is never enough. Venue, offering sports style clothing with a different touch from Puma, recently opened its doors here. The clothing has been specially designed by fashion luminaries including Alexander McQueen, Raf Simon, Neil Barret, Philippe Starck dan Christy Turlington under the 96 Hours label. If a Chanel tweed jacket collection and other brand-name goods have yet to keep your inner customer satisfied, then Venue may be the venue to find what you are looking for.

Longtime Legends

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its Icones collection. As the name suggests, this presents nine legendary designs from the company’s hundreds of years of operation. The collection features the Wardrobe (1875), Steamer Bag (1901), Keepall (1930), Speedy (1930), Noe (1932), Alam (1934), Lockit (1958), Papillon (1966) and Bucket (1968). They have earned the iconic label for standing the test of time and remaining much in demand even today.

Noblesse Oblige
Aigner has presented its new collection defined by classical elegance and casual styling. There are wristwatches, writing instruments and jewelry for the taking.
