The problem can be solved from the government. They can start providing ID cards to those poor Chinese people living in towns like Tangerang etc.
When a baby is born on an American airline, he/she automatically becomes a U.S. citizen, and these people are third or fourth generation Chinese born in Indonesia.

In the reform era, the government has treated Chinese-Indonesians the same as other Indonesians, including practicing their culture including annually celebrating the Chinese New Year, or Imlek.
But most Chinese-Indonesians here may regard themselves as better than other Indonesians and accuse them of being stupid and lazy. They prefer to live exclusively in neighborhoods that are predominantly Chinese.
I hope Chinese-Indonesians can truly assimilate with other Indonesians not only in daily life but also in business activities, so that they will have a similar skill and ability to run businesses like Chinese.
The government must protect and give access to native Indonesians in doing business to narrow the gap with ethnic Chinese.

Increase the number of Chinese-Indonesians as military and government officials. Punish acts of racial discrimination. Educate the public about their contributions to this nation.

In business, many Chinese-Indonesians are never satisfied with the profit they get. They are always greedy and demand more and more money. They are very nasty and sarcastic when giving orders. We local Indonesians hate such Chinese attitudes.

The Chinese are not respected because they are very rude to Indonesian people, unfriendly and only close to their Chinese descendants and friends.
