Criticizing Olmert's Iran statement

Referring to the article, "Israel sure Iran seeking nuclear arms: PM Olmert, by AFP, which was published in The Jakarta Post on Feb. 13, I would like to give following explanations in order to enlighten the Post's readers:
Olmert`s statement is marked while several reports of the IAEA and even a recent report of the National Intelligent Estimate (NIE) have put emphasis on Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
It is very strange that representatives of a regime, which obtains hundreds of nuclear warheads and has been a source of unrest, instability, crisis by resorting to aggression, usurpation and killing of innocent men and women of Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, is judging Iran's nuclear program.
Olmert and his regime have less right than any other to give statements about Iran's peaceful nuclear program. Representatives of Zionist regime have started their hostile approach toward Iran from early beginning of Islamic Revolution in 1979 when Israel's embassy in Tehran was replaced with Embassy of Palestine and supporting the oppressed Palestinians has become priority of Iran's foreign policy.
This regime is seeking new justification and pretext to cover its daily severe inhuman actions against Palestinians. This rhetoric comes out while the world observes genocide of Palestinians including their leaders and democratically elected representatives. Meanwhile, public witness arrest and imprisonment of Palestinian officials, killing of youths, usurpation and occupation of their territories in addition to inhumane treatment against them, like cutting off their drinking water sources, electricity and embarking on complete blockade in which even patients in hospitals are deprived from their internationally accepted basic rights for treatment.
All these will bear no fruits and could not force Palestinians to give up for illegal requests of Zionist regime.
There is no doubt that perpetrators of Palestinian genocide should be brought to justice as war criminals.
