The accident happened because neither organizing committee (of the rock concert and the soccer game) had any management skill. They never anticipate the violence of the crowds because they lacked comprehensive information about their programs. Why? because they were too busy with their own business.

I think cruelty is a natural human phenomenon of mankind. People bash, slander, torture and even kill each other. It's all caused by worsening economic conditions that cause people to vent their anger at the smallest opportunity. The government should create more job vacancies, then we wouldn't have incidents like this.

These incidents are truly vandalism. Society gains nothing from these actions.time for people to think twice before engaging in such violent behavior. Security guards and police to remain more alert to public safety at large events.

Violence, anarchism and other brutal acts reflect the failure of religious teachings in Indonesia for the younger generation. Religious and moral teachings should promote peace and tolerance among citizens. The failure of moral teaching at schools and universities is the main cause. Organized religion needs to emphasize greater respect for others.

Every day people lose their lives due to ignorance. When they get emotional, they can kill or be killed unnecessarily. I spent more than 10 years living overseas, and yesterday I was nearly hit by a speeding car because the driver did not know that he had to slow down or stop to let pedestrians cross the road. Wherever I go, I still see people smoking in public places. I hope the next Indonesian president will be successful in maintaining law and order, otherwise people will keep losing their lives.

There are three ways you can curb soccer violence. 1. You can ban undisciplined players from the field. 2. Install CCTV around the stadiums to monitor the movement of fans. 3. Segregate fans for the opposing sides and keep them in place during the game. Fans should be escorted to and from the venue through different routes.

As so often happens lives are lost and the reasons are plain for all to see. Greed, laziness and carelessness. Don't allow such concerts and the like to take place.

The death toll from Saturday's rock concert stampede in Bandung was caused by sales of 4,000 extra tickets, far more than the 750 permitted entrance by the police. The organizers threw gasoline on the flames by providing free alcoholic drinks for the spectators. Additionally, there were not enough security officers present to prevent such an accident from happening. In the future, I hope all parties will feel compelled to follow the civic procedures defined by law. It would be better if such a big concert were held in a stadium that has the capacity to accommodate more spectators.

It is alarming to know that such incidents can happen. The victims of these incidents were killed in vain. The organizers and police share the blame. They failed to guarantee the safety of the concert goers and football supporters.

Event organizers and police need to work more closely to ensure such events are well run. They should not have let non-paying fans into the venue. Strict law enforcement is badly needed to prevent such tragedies from recurring in the future. We need to learn this lesson once and for all!

This is a good lesson for young people who want to be strong, brave, heroic or successful but do not know how to get there. They only know how to live for a short time. They do not know how to live a long and successful life. Indonesia will crumble and fall in the face of globalization if it does not learn how to anticipate circumstances.
