The price of fish has soared in Jayapura since the end of January, particularly yellow tail fish, which is currentyl priced up to Rp 60,000 (about US$6.5) each from Rp 30,000 to Rp 45,000, due to bad weather affecting fishing and soaring gas prices for boats.
