SMS: Smart Card

ADPARA>I think there will be many difficulties in using the smart card because it isn't a habit to use it when buying gasoline. And we don't know where the money will go for sure from the bureaucracy making the card.

The government should implement the differences among the private car owners. GOLDY PRATIWI SINAGA

I think, the use of a "Smart Card" wouldn't be effective. The government has to distribute the card to all private car owners and ensure the card has been distributed by the government. This will take a long time and it's too complicated. So the government should just raise the gasoline prices, although it will make private car owners suffer. RIZKY DWI OKTAVIANTO

We are not good at book-keeping or at simple administration. So why bother with this "Smart Card" and have to deal with future problems, when we can raise the price of gasoline a bit? EDDY A. ZAINY

I think it would be better to use a "Smart Card" for the people in the lower economic class because people in lower economic class can't buy gasoline at high prices. KEMALA

The government has to improve very much the infrastructure like roads and train systems. How much gasoline is wasted because of standing continuously in traffic jams? When the traffic was running smoothly the could be saved millions of liters of gasoline. A.P.H. MULDERS

The government should give a "Smart Card" to people who can afford to pay the gasoline and make a sign for people who have a "Smart Cut" to cut the subsidies in their car. ANNISA S.

We have to pay attention to the complicated and the deviation of this management handing especially in money management. MEITY KARLINA W

The government should examine the basic reasons why it exports its crude oil at lower contract prices and imports crude oil at market prices. If old contracts with foreign oil companies are unfair to Indonesia, they should be scrapped and make fairer contracts. It is ridiculous for an OPEC country to be in this miserable situation. K.B. We should support the government to apply a smart card in an effort to cut the subsidies. If it's not working well then raise the gasoline prices. NI LUH AYU S

It is better if the government increases oil prices. BATARA

The Smart Card is a better idea than rising the gasoline price. Instead of the poor suffering, the Smart Card will help them through with a subsidy. However, the use of a Smart Card system has to be supervised by the government in order to achieve the goal. SHINTA ANDRIANI
