Undip hosts tax reform seminar

SEMARANG: Diponegoro University (Undip) hosted on Feb. 18 a seminar on tax reform in its commitment to disseminating information about a new tax regulation.
The new regulation contains directives for Law No. 28/2007 on Terms and Conditions in Tax Affairs.
The seminar discussed how administrative reform within the tax office and new policies drawn by the director-general of tax would drive economic growth.
Key speakers who appeared at the seminar were Riza Noor Karim, an official with the directorate general of tax affairs, as well as Gusti Agung Rai Wirajaya and Ana Muhanawah, members of the House of Representatives. -- JP
