SAY NO TO NUKES: At least 3,000 residents from Balong village and surrounding areas in the Kembang subdistrict, Jepara regency, rallied in front of the local office of the National Atomic Energy Agency (BATAN) on Thursday to protest the government's plan to build a nuclear power plant near their villages. The protesters also blocked the entry to the office with a temporary wall. (JP/Suherdjoko)
