Deliveries to East Kalimantan disturbed

BALIKPAPAN: Carrier companies in Balikpapan made an apology to the public for late mail deliveries due to frequent bad weather during the rainy season.
Service has seen two to three hour delays because of late arrivals and departures of passenger and cargo aircraft to and from the city, PT Birotika Semesta spokesman Robert Sanjaya said here over the weekend.
His company has always given satisfactory explanations for late deliveries to customers, he said.
DHL Express has expanded its operations because the province is home to many coal and fuel mining companies, and hundreds of expatriates, DHL area manager Welty Tambunan said. --JP
