ITB teams make Okinawa contest finals

BANDUNG: Two teams from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) have been shortlisted as finalists of the 11th LSI Design Contest 2008, being held in Okinawa, Japan.

The Garuda Parahyangan and Crew ITB teams will present their designs on March 14 along with other finalists in Okinawa.

The LSI Design Contest is an annual ICT competition for integrated circuit (IC) designs.

IC, popularly known as a "chip", is an essential component in electronic devices. A complex electronic system can be unified in one chip to run a specific application.
