SAMARINDA: Mulawarman University (Unmul) in East Kalimantan and the University of Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) recently signed an agreement on mutual cooperation in the provincial capital.
UNIMAS president Abdul Rashid Abdullah said the agreement was important, as his university wanted to take part in researches conducted by Unmul academic teams.
The Malaysian university also has worked previously with Tanjungpura University of West Kalimantan and Palangkaraya University in Central Kalimantan.
As for Unmul, the university has worked previously with Tokyo University of Japan and Leiden University in the Netherlands.
