Study Break: Scientific contest at UI

JAKARTA: University of Indonesia (UI) organized last week the Student Scientific Contest (Limas), during which organizers selected the best articles, essays and photos by students.
State Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Adhyaksa Dault opened the event, held at UI's Social and Political Sciences Faculty.
The contest, which was themed "Portrait of Urban Poverty", was held in the hope to encourage students to create a research tradition on campus.
At the occasion, Adhyaksa also shared his experience, particularly that during his tenure as chairman of a youth organization called KNPI.
The state minister expressed his support for the contest, which he said could drive students to build critical thinking skills. -- JP
