Residents of Johar Baru subdistrict in Central Jakarta line up to buy subsidized cooking oil Tuesday. The government provided a subsidy of Rp 2,500 per liter, bringing the price of the cooking oil down to Rp 9,000 a liter. Residents were allowed to buy five liters each. (JP/Ricky Yudhistira)
