RESCUE: Heavy rainfalls over the last few days have submerged the northern part of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The water was still up to two meters deep on Monday at Karang Joang village. The boat pictured was the only vessel available to transport locals to safety. (JP/Nurni Sulaiman)
