Minister sets up team to collect data on porn websites

Information and Communications Minister Muhammad Nuh said Saturday he had set up a team to collect data on porn websites amid a government ban designed to stop children from accessing
adult material on the Internet.
The minister said the probe would alert the ministry to web address changes of targeted porn sites.
He said he expected the public to report any new porn websites to the ministry.
"We don't prohibit porn websites because they have existed for a long time and their number has reached into the millions. We just don't want them to be accessed here," Nuh said. (***)
