I would like to be the one who gets to surf the web all day, looking for pornographic sites to ban. Where do I apply for this position?

I agree with the House because the Internet can be accessed by underage children. However, if the House does make the ban, please do it properly. The ban may spark other problems like increase the sales of porn DVDs.

Hello to the government, you are not the smartest guys on the web. Don't pretend to be.

I think online porn is great. They shouldn't ban it.

The bill will not be effective. Pornography can be accessed in other media.

I think it's really necessary, particularly to prevent children from accessing pornography. Porn pictures can change their moral standards.

It would be difficult to make the ban work. 'Smart' people could still access pornography sites in many ways. Besides, not all things which get labeled porn are bad, for example medical terms. I'm afraid it would limit our knowledge.
Applying religious values is the best way to prevent young people from having bad attitudes instead of just banning pornography online.

This is another good move by the government, but the policy should be consistent. The Internet develops rapidly along with its consumption. I hope it is also supported by the public.

Yes, I am in favor of the move. A billion years of human civilization on earth has targeted mostly on how to consistently promote human lives differ from animal's. Pornography is doing the opposite way.

The House of Representatives should stop this nonsense and view the matter more practically. Banning a thing is equivalent to fueling people's curiosity of it.

In trying to protect children, it would be better to censor TV violence than porn, in which people are having fun and being nice to each other.
BARRIE

Yes, it is necessary to ban online porn. Save our country through banning pornography.

It's sad they are banning online pornography. Now we can't watch legislators having sex on Internet.
SVEN

Absolutely not.

Of course, it is not necessary. Nobody has the right to tell other people what to see or not to see. Better to censor the violence in electronic cinemas or sinetron.
In sinetron, it is normal to beat women. I think it is not good for children to watch this type of violence. They would think it is a normal way to behave.
In this country, kissing is considered pornography, while violence is family entertainment.

I really support a bill on forbidding online pornography which has been passed by the House of Representatives. Hopefully, this bill would be implemented consistently to fight decadent morals in society and may prevent the drop in moral standards of our people.

I do not agree. DPR members are doing this because they cannot solve other more imminent and important problems. Parents should have nanny softwares for their children at home to prevent them from accessing porn, but ban it altogether? What else will they ban next? Women walking alone on the streets? Co-ed schools?
Seems like indonesia is slowly reversing to the medieval times.
