HEALTHY CROP: Soybean farmers in Grobongan, Central Java, check their crops. Many farmers are reluctant to plant soybeans because of low market prices compared to crops such as rubber, coffee, palm oil and tea. Analysts said Monday the government has yet to come up with policies to encourage farmers to plant soybeans. About 60 percent of Indonesia's domestic soybean demand is met by imports from the United States, China and Brazil. (JP/Suherdjoko)
