Gusti wins Japanese Speech Competition

The national competition for senior high school students across the country is an annual competition first held in 2001, and aims to encourage Indonesian students to study and to excel in the Japanese language.

As many as 13 students from nine provinces took part in the final stage of the competition, representing their schools in North Sumatra (1), West Sumatra (1), Greater Jakarta (2), West Java (2), Central Java and Yogyakarta (2), East Java (2), Bali (2) and North Sulawesi (1).

The students who achieved top scores during the competition will have a chance to visit Japan through two programs: The Japanese Language Program for High School Students and the Japanese Speech Award.
