Tibetan do enjoy their religious freedom today. There are more than a thousand Buddhist temples and other places where Buddhist activities arise all over Tibet.
And there are near 50,000 monks and nuns who live in temples in Tibet. Small prayer halls or shrines are virtually universal in the homes of believers. Over a million Tibetans in Tibet and other provinces go to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, as pilgrims each year.
Furthermore, Tibetan culture, such as Tibetan literature, Tibetan arts, Tibetan tales, Tibetan education and Tibetan medicine, has been developing. Anyone who is curious about Tibet and has no biases can find these facts that happen in Tibet today.
Of course, the Chinese government indeed made some mistakes, especially during the Cultural Revolution, and many things need to improve, which cannot be used to deny the progress that has occurred in Tibet.
The riots that occurred in Tibet and other provinces in China during the middle and late March are violent crimes which were directed by a handful of Tibetan separatists. All Chinese people and overseas Chinese damn these violent crimes.
