EMP net profit up 50% on oil prices

JAKARTA: The country' second largest oil producer, PT Energy Mega Persada (EMP), posted a 50 percent first quarter net profit increase on the back of revenue boosts from high oil prices. , 

EMP investor relations head Herwin Wahyu Hidayat said Wednesday the company's first quarter profit surged to Rp 27 billion (US$2.9 million) from Rp 18 billion in the same period last year. ,
