Indonesia through to Thomas Cup semis

Indonesia cruised through to the semifinals of the Thomas Cup team badminton championship after defeating England 3-0 in a quarterfinal match on Wednesday.
The host opened the win after Sony Dwi Kuncoro beat Andrew Smith 23-25, 21-19, 21-5, followed by a 21-12. 21-10 victory from men's duo Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan over Robert Adcock and Robin Middleton.
In the last match, Taufik Hidayat overcame the challenge of Rajiv Ouseph 21-17 21-16. (***)
