We should start with affordable and reliable Internet connections for the public and homes. Also, we can change our mind-set, note what others do and browse a wealth of information before taking action.
For example, it would be cheaper and save our country's petrol if we could buy airline tickets online, etc. We could also minimize "the middle man" in many aspect of our business. I believe government could do it as owner of state telecommunications and electricity firms. That's what central government is for.

Ahmadiyah urged MUI to scrap edicts May 9, p. 2
The comments by former justice minister Yusril Ihza Mahendra are uncalled for! Nobody can tell someone what words he can and cannot use in his everyday life.
In the world, especially in the Middle East, non-Muslims use the Islamic words assalamu alaikum when they greet Muslims and often the word Allah is used by them to describe God.
Does this mean they are wrong and cannot use these words just because they are non-Muslims? And here Yusril is telling Ahmadi Muslims, who believe in the five pillars of Islam and practice the same as other Muslims in their daily lives, that they cannot use such words.
Is he living in the Stone Age? Does he want Indonesia to become like Pakistan, where the whole infrastructure and government are corrupt?
After declaring the Ahmadis non-Muslims (which can only be done by God), Pakistan since 1974 has moved down the progress ladder so far that many countries have said this is the most dangerous country in the world at present. Law and order does not seem to exist at all in this country.
What type of a constitutional law professor is Yusril, wanting Indonesia to step back into the Stone Age and become the laughing stock of the world! AMIN
