An excellent and overdue wakeup call. It is easy to gather a crowd and shout and demonstrate about so-called Muslim sensibilities being offended by one thing or another.

I wonder how many want to demonstrate and shout about the Nazi memorabilia openly for sale outside schools and in the marketplace? They are deeply offensive to the whole of humanity.

The politics of the mob thrives on hatred.

If we as Muslims believe in one Allah and one creation then everything that He created are brothers made by the same hand. Hatred of anyone is therefore shirk. Division is a work of Shaitan. Unity -- and love -- is divine.

Muslims do not need any decree to be Muslims from any religious or political authority. It is a matter of faith which is not a political or religious issue and should not be complicated by religious bootleggers. Ahmadis should be allowed to practice what they preach. God, not human beings, is the ultimate judge of faith.

Call for Ahmadiyah ban -- April 20, p. 9

Some ulemas say Ahmadiyah is not Islamic. These leaders are really wrong and misguiding people. Ahmadiyah is 100 percent Islamic according to the Koran as follows:

"And this was the legacy that Ibrahim left to his sons, and so did Ya'qub; "Oh, my sons! Allah hath chosen the faith for you; die not except in the state of submission (to Allah)." (2:132).

"Verily, this brotherhood of yours is a single brotherhood, and I am your Lord and cherisher: Therefore serve Me (and no other)." (Koran, 21:92)

"Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good and follows the way of Ibrahim, the true in faith? For Allah did take Ibrahim for a friend." (4:125)

So Allah says above that Ahmadiyah is pure Islam.

Let we stand together for peaceful country, with no discrimination, with justice and prosperity for all. Can we do that?
