SMS: SBY economic performance

I think the economic performance of SBY is better than the previous president's because unemployment is declining compared to four years ago.

For democracy, SBY is the right man. He's not an arrogant or authoritarian leader. Unfortunately, SBY is too slow and too hesitant in making a decision.

In the four years he has led this country, his policies have been unclear and don't side with low-income people, unlike Soeharto. SBY tends to encourage the capitalist side, particularly Kalla, who is a real businessman.

I am a potential foreign investor in Indonesia. My unannounced reason for confidence in your country is SBY. He has the international rating as Asian's highest integrity man of power. That is SBY's biggest economic performance in his four years.

I don't think the economic policy of President SBY is good for poor Indonesians. The rich are getting richer and the poor poorer.

The economy is not growing strongly since the economic recession after the fall of former president Soeharto. President SBY's economic policy is not supported by good law enforcement, like putting corruptors into jails.

It will only hamper foreign investment. His economic policy only benefits the upper class in this country. In his four years in his office, the rate is very poor.

The economic performance of SBY is good. We can see how SBY has solved corruption with the KPK. The President also tries his best to help poor people by granting cash. I'm proud of him. He always tries to make Indonesia a better country.

Indonesia's economy is getting worse because SBY is not smart with the economy. Maybe he is good in leading his political party, but not in leading Indonesia.

I think President SBY's economic policies are not good for the people such as when he increased fuel prices and the way he tried to help the poor people by granting cash aid to them. Such assistance only encourages people to become beggars.

I am a woodwork businessman. Since SBY started office, business has fallen, prices of raw materials have tippled since 2004 and labor costs have also increased. The worst is the increase of energy costs. We spend more and more for diesel oil to run our factories. We are now in an economic crisis.

SBY has been doing his best. Unfortunately, his best is not enough, even far from enough.

SBY ignored his own promises to the public.

It is a modest performance. The President should take more decisive measures.
