Pedrosa wins Catalunya GP

Spaniard Dani Pedrosa riding Honda won the Catalunya MotoGP on Sunday, followed by five time world champion Valentino Rossi of Italy in second place and the 2007 world champion Casey Stoner of Australia in third position.
Pedrosa, started from second on the grid, took the lead at the first corner in the first lap after Stoner, who claimed pole position in Saturday's qualifying session, made a mistake.
Rossi, who started from ninth position on the grid, overtook seven riders including Stoner to climb to second spot with just two laps to go.
Rossi still topped the overall standing with 142 points, while Pedrosa was second, trailing Rossi by seven points.(***)
