The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Thursday said it would monitor the ongoing privatization of state assets and the management of natural resources to prevent state losses.
"We are more concerned about privatization and natural resources management. I have asked my team to learn and analyze the management of oil, gas, nickel, coal and other natural
resources," KPK chairman Antasari Azhar said.
He said the KPK would focus first on preventive measures, followed by overseeing any privatization or natural resource management practices that could inflict loss on the state. (***)
