A privately owned tour bus transporting South Korean tourists exploded at the departure terminal of the Polonia International Airport in Medan, North Sumatera, on Wednesday.
According to Tuti, a bystander, the bottom part of the Mercedes Benz bus exploded immediately after the 21 tourists had alighted the bus and proceeded to walk towards the departure terminal.
The explosion, containing fire sparks and metal debris, damaged the check-in terminal located 13 meters from the bus.
No casualties were reported.(*)
