Achmad Cholid, lawyer of former spy Muchdi, on Monday demanded four other spies be examined following the trial of his client over his alleged involvement in the killing of human rights activist Munir.

Persda Network/Kompas.com reported that Achmad said an agent at the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Raden Mohammad Patma Anwar, had named three BIN agents Manunggal Maladi, Sentot Waluyo and Wahyu Saronto in the Munir case.

“But why only Muchdi is examined? We want them to be probed too,” he said.

Munir died after his food was poisoned during his flight from Jakarta to Amsterdam in September 2004. (***)
