Ten under-fives die of malnutrition in Lebak

Ten children died under the age of five died from malnutrition in Lebak Municipality, Banten Province, during January-June 2008.
A total of 953 cases under-fives suffering from malnutrition were detected, with 10 of them dying in Lebak over the past six months, said Tata Sudita from the Lebak health service here on Monday.
Factors causing malnutrition includes poverty, parental ignorance, and diseases such as tuberculosis, diarrhea and respiratory problems. (**)
