Five of ten factions at the House of Representatives on Tuesday rejected a proposal to examine the government on its decision to raise fuel price hikes.
In Tuesday's plenary session, the Golkar faction, the Democrat faction, the Prosperous Peace faction, the Prosperous Justice faction, and the United Development faction disagreed with the proposal.
Five other factions, the Indonesian Democratic faction for Struggle, the National Mandate faction, the National Awakening faction, the Democratic Pioneer Star faction, and the Reform Star faction supported the proposal.
The plenary session was postponed to give a chance for faction leaders to settle the differences. (***)
