Former governor Sutiyoso questioned by Jakarta provincial prosecutors

Former Jakarta governor Sutiyoso was questioned by the Jakarta provincial prosecutors office on Wednesday over the procurement of local tax forms for engine vehicles.
Assistant for Special Crime at the Jakarta provincial prosecutor office M. Yusuf said Sutiyoso was questioned for about two hours starting at 07.00 a.m.. Yusuf refused to disclose the content of the query.
"It will be put in the official report, which is confidential," he said.
A further query is planned to be held in the near future.
The Jakarta provincial attorney suspects the procurement project was marked up, causing an estimated loss of Rp 2.6 billion (about US$283,481) to the state.(**)
