Pertamina ups non-subsidized fuel prices

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina on Tuesday raised the prices of non-subsidized fuels it sells to industries and the public to adjust to high global crude oil prices.

It raised the price of Pertamax Plus by between Rp 100 and Rp 200 per liter. In Greater Jakarta, Pertamax Plus rose to Rp 10,750 per liter, up from Rp 10,600 in July 1, while Pertamax hit Rp 10,600 per liter, up from Rp 10,300.

On average, Pertamax rose by between Rp 250 and Rp 300 per liter.

The price of Pertamax Dex increased by Rp 500 per liter, to Rp 13,500 from Rp 13,000.

Biopertamax increased between Rp 250 and Rp 300 per liter. In Greater Jakarta, Biopertamax rose to Rp 10,600 per liter, up from Rp 10,300.

For industries, Pertamina increased the prices of gasoline by 2.3 percent on average, kerosene by 2.9 percent, high speed diesel (HSD) by 2.2 percent and marine diesel fuel by 8.6 percent.

In Greater Jakarta, gasoline rose to Rp 9,340 per liter from Rp 9,130, Kerosene to Rp 11,540 per liter from Rp 11.220, HSD to Rp 11,520 per liter from Rp 11.270, and MDF to Rp 11.260 per liter from Rp 10.980.

Pertamina adjusts the prices of fuels it sells to industries and high-octane fuels to the public twice a month to reflect the global prices of crude oil.
