Letter: MICRA Foundation clarifies

With regard to the article published in The Jakarta Post (July 7, p. 6) titled "Crippling effect of global inflation to microfinance" written by Stefan S. Handoyo, here is our clarification.

Handoyo is a senior economist working for our institution, the Microfinance Innovation Center for Resources and Alternatives (MICRA).

However, in regard to his article, we would like to clearly state that he is purely writing his own opinion and not representing the institution where he works.

Therefore, MICRA as an institution which supports the development of microfinance in Indonesia has no responsibility for any impact that may occurred in relations to the article he wrote and published.
