RI soccer coach not worried about AFF Cup draw

National soccer team coach Benny Dolly on Monday said he would concentrate on his team's preparations rather than worry about the draw of the 2008 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF)
Cup next month.

"We will never know the draw. As a coach, I can't do anything about it," he said. The draw will take place in Jakarta on Aug. 27.

The 2008 AFF Cup will be held in two stages. The qualifying rounds will take place in Cambodia from Oct. 17-25, while the final rounds will be co-hosted by Thailand and Indonesia from
Dec. 5-28.

Indonesia has never won the cup since it first began in 1996. Only Thailand and Singapore have won, winning the title three times each. (***)

If the final is in Senayan stadium, make sure the light's not out again and as usual the crowd is controlled. Handling crowd is the toughest bit though since brutality looks like a part of Indo's soccer culture
