Andi inspired to produce jazz album

ANDI (JP/Indra Harsaputra)In front of a crowd of journalists attending a press conference of the Urban Jazz Crossover music event Wednesday, Andi performed a smooth jazz version of Kurt Cobain's "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

"This is my first experience, but it's amazing. It's hard but singing jazz is fun," Andi said.

His first experience has left a deep impression on him, he said, and has even made him think about producing a jazz album.

"This is probably the right moment to express my wish in front of journalists. This is suppose to be a surprise. But let's wait and see," he said.

Prior to Andi's performance, singer Glenn Fredly sang a jazz version of Michael Jackson's "Rock With You". -- JP/Indra Harsaputra
