An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale jolted Waingapu waters, East Nusa Tenggara, on Monday morning.
The earthquake hit at 5:32 a.m. local time. Its epicenter was located at around 23 km northeast of Waingapu, or 99 km southwest Ruteng, East Nusa Tenggara province, at a depth of 71 km below sea level, the National Meteorological and Geophysics Agency reported here on Monday. (**)
