JAKARTA: The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) named three new research professors on Thursday in a ceremony to mark its 41st anniversary.
Tarzan Sembiring, Rachmaniar Rachmat and Johanis Palar Mogea bring the number of research professors at the state institute to 63.
The three delivered speeches at the inauguration ceremony presided over by LIPI chairman Umar A. Jenie.
Tarzan was named a research professor in microbiology, Rachmaniar in basic and applied scientific studies and Johanis in botanical sciences. --JP
