Child dies after falling from 25th floor

A five-year-old child who fell from a window of an apartment on the 25th floor of the Sudirman Tower condominium on Saturday died instantly, police said.

"The incident occurred at 11.00 p.m. The child was playing with his friend. They were playing on a bed, he opened a window and then fell from the 25th floor to a balcony on the fifth floor," said Setiabudi patrol unit head I Gde Seryana, as quoted by Detik.com.

Seryana said the body of child, identified as Daniel, was taken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital in Central Jakarta. (and)
