Sing, dance and party with ABBA MANIA

OK, enough of all that singing and dancing at work, clubs and karaoke rooms to that timeless Dancing Queen by ABBA. Now that the band is coming to Esplanade Singapore to throw their fans a real party, it's time for you to go and finally experience their timeless hits live.

Performing on Oct. 4 and 5, ABBA MANIA is going to heat up Esplanade Theater with their famous tracks such as Fernando, Super Trouper, Waterloo, The Winner Takes It All, Voulez Vous, Take A Chance On Me and a lot more. Said to be the best ABBA show since ABBA, ABBA MANIA comes to conquer Singapore after a sell-out run at the Strand Theatre in London's West End and record-breaking seasons through Europe, South America and Australia.

Expect a couple of hours of uplifting joy showered with the glitterings of stage, lights, music and memories of the band, altogether on one memorable night.

The name ABBA is derived from the initials of the people behind this Swedish pop music quartet. Formed by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaesus, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agnetha Faltskog, the band topped the charts worldwide from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. With their catchy song hooks, simple and singable lyrics, it is no surprise that the four of them grew popular around the world, drawing near-hysterical crowds that remind you of hard-core Beatles fans.

The music has been re-arranged into the successful musical Mamma Mia! which has toured worldwide, with a movie version that was just recently released this year too. Other movies that are related to ABBA are the Australian film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert and Muriel's Wedding. Both focused on admiration for the band that is famously noted with the colorful and trend-setting costumes that the members liked to wear.

Their show in Singapore will quench those ABBA-holics of their long-time hunger and wait to sing, dance and party with their beloved band.
