Oedin-Joko leads in Lampung election

A quick count of Lampung gubernatorial election by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) shows that the pair Sjachroedin ZP, or Oedin, and MS Joko Umar have won the election.
Sjachroedin and Joko, nominated by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), collected 41.1 percent of counted votes, followed by M Alzier Dianis Thabranie-Bambang Sudibyo, who collected 20.3 percent.
The quick count used samples from 400 out of 13,301 polling stations spread across 11 regencies and mayoralties.
A total of seven pairs contested the Lampung gubernatorial elections. (rid)
