Argo Wilis train derails in Garut

Passanger train Argo Wilis serving the Bandung-Surabaya route derailed in Garut regency, West Java, Saturday.
No fatalities were reported. State railway company PT Kereta Api spokesman Mateta Rizalulhaq said the train's fourth car, i.e. the restaurant car, derailed at KM232+100, between Bumi Waluya and Cipeundeuy stations, blocking the Bandung-Surabaya rail route.
The fourth and the remaining cars were then disconnected with the main train, and Argo Wilis continued traveling to Surabaya with the three passenger cars.
"Currently, we are handling this case. We let Argo Wilis to continue its trip to Surabaya with three cars," Meteta told Antara. (rid)
