INDONESIA: Like anyone else, Indian women living in Jakarta keep busy with their day-to-day activities. But most of them believe there is always time for a little something extra.

And if this something is for a noble cause, everyone works to ensure its success.

This is precisely what members of the Indian Women's Association (IWA), a charity organization, are planning to do on Wednesday.

"We will organize an international charity bazaar at the Four Seasons Hotel from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday to raise funds for our charity work," IWA president Gopi Punjabi told The Jakarta Post recently.

The bazaar will be open to the public.

Punjabi said proceeds from the bazaar, which will have 200 stalls, will be donated to orphanages, nursing homes, physically challenged children and students from low-income families.

The bazaar will be opened by Indian Ambassador Biren Nanda. -- JP
