JAKARTA: Jakarta Police announced Thursday plans to reshuffle key positions in the near future now that spokesperson Sr. Comr. Ketut Untung Yoga Ana has been promoted to head the Bandung city police force in West Java.
As outlined in an announcement from Jakarta Police chief Insp. Gen. Adang Firman, Yoga would be replaced by the head of Jakarta's telecommunications technology division, Sr. Comr. Zulkarnain.
Head of the internal affairs and security division, Sr. Comr. Syaiful Bachri, will be replaced by Sr. Comr. Erwin Hasibuan, who is presently serving in the same position in Central Java.
Syaiful will move up to national deputy chief of the directorate for security and intelligence.
West Jakarta's deputy chief, Adj. Sr. Comr. Joko Hartanto, will be replaced by Adj. Sr. Comr. Yazid Fanani, who is currently head of the Bogor Police department. --JP
