Your comments on the failure of "Supertoy HL2 rice" project, which is the second failed project (after Blue Energy) introduced by the President's advisor.
When I first read the name Supertoy I thought it was some kind of multi-tasking sex gizmo from one the shops in downtown Jakarta. Turns out it is a multi-yield variety of rice.
Apparently I am right in one sense. The Supertoy was used to screw the happiness of farmers in Central Java.
It also resulted in President Yudhoyono being taught another lesson -- don't toy with nepotism, even if it is a Super Toy. In the long run, sometimes even in the short run, things invariably fall apart and you get exposed.
Obviously the Blue Energy fiasco did not "shock" him -- how could it when the darn contraption did not produce any electricity.
It is amazing how a person with such good education and "experience" could be so gullible. I use the word experience in quotes because a wise person defined experience thus: "Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want."
The President did not get multiple crops of rice, he did not get electricity from seawater but did he get experience! Experience is what President Bush also got when he did not get any WMD.
Mercifully my favorite Obama has no "experience" as even his competitor McCain admits. That is a different subject for another day.
So far the President has a good name. He should not allow his hangers-on to lure him into giving his support, direct or indirect, overt or covert, to such scams.
He should delegate these matters to the minister concerned to investigate. After all what are they getting paid for?

This indicates that the President chooses his advisors based on nepotism and not on competency. He should expel his advisor right away, while keeping in mind the saying that only a donkey falls in the same hole twice.

Yudhoyono is very progressive, trying to improve the conditions of Indonesia. He accepts any positive idea proposed to make things better.
Unfortunately his ministers and his closest assistants in charge are not sensitive enough to take quick, prompt actions.

The President's personal assistants should assist him to achieve his objectives and enhance his image. They should be immediately dismissed for implicating him in fraudulent projects such as "Blue Energy" and "Supertoy HL2".
Furthermore his political affiliation makes him a risk as a "mole" who could sabotage the President's tasks from inside using his position as one of "all the President's Men".

Blue energy is a project. SuperToy is a project. Any project needs a lot of money. When they are finished, the project operators expect to make huge profits. But the results of the projects are nonsense.
The public such as the farmers are the real victims. Why do we have to believe in such professional projects? Soon another project in education will come, using 20 percent of the state budget, which is allocated for the sector. Some of the funds are to used for school computers and Internet capability throughout the country.
And the project surely will be handled by certain project operators. The plan is to spend Rp 1 million (US$108) to Rp 2.5 million per unit. After the project has been done what will happen if some hackers spread some viruses via the Internet?
How much money will be spent to repair the broken computers? They are happy handling projects and gaining profit from the poor citizens.

Regarding the Supertoy HL2 and Blue Energy projects, the government needs to build research and project centers in all the provinces because the soil conditions in each province are dissimilar. Make sure no projects go to the public before we know there will be good results for humanity and the environment/nature.

This shows the President's advisors have little technological understanding or it implies they are the wrong group of people to do this job. If the President can be misled by such projects, the country's wealth will be uselessly spent. Anyone who wants to conduct research using state funds must be responsible for their work.

It could be a matter of nepotism. Normally, Supertoy seeds should have been certified by the relevant institutions before going to the farmers.
Why did it reach the President? Why did the President dare to make it public during the harvest season and assure the farmers that it was the best seed?
