Police find ecstasy factory in apartment

North Jakarta Police has found an ecstasy factory in an apartment in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, after confiscating 8985 ecstasy pills on last Friday and Saturday.

The police nabbed the first suspect, Mira, 32, in an undercover operation, during a transaction in parking area at Mitra Keluarga Hospital, Kelapa Gading. The police got 1000 pills from it.

The second suspects was Budi Wijaya, 31. The police caught him on the spot at Tower F Room 1511, Paladian Park Apartment, Kelapa Gading, which caught was lead by information from Mira.

"We found 20 pieces of evidence inside the unit. The place was an ecstasy factory," said the director of the drugs department at Jakarta Police office, Comr. Arman Depari, as quoted by Tempointeraktif.com on Thursday.

The last two suspects, Franky, also known as Wen, 32, and Rusdi, also known as Aon, 48, were caught in the parking area of the same apartment.

Apart from the ecstasy pills, the police also found 350 H-5, aka Erimin, an ingredient used to make ecstasy, 2360 gram white powder, 510 gram white powder, 3990 white crystal, 15 packs of
powder, printed material, four measuring glasses, 10 botles of chemical liquid, filters and scale. (ast)
