On hands-free phone, man hit by train

DEPOK: A pedestrian who was talking on his hands-free cell phone was hit by a train near Kemiri Market in Depok on Friday morning.

According to eyewitnesses, the man did not realize two trains were rolling in both directions and stepped forward after one had passed, kompas.com reported.

People around him shouted a warning but he did not hear it. He suffered broken bones in his leg and hand and was taken to the hospital. --JP
