Workers loot factory assets

TANGERANG: Hundreds of former workers of PT Dong Joe, a shoe producer for Reebok, looted the factory on Jl. Raya Rajek, Pasar Kemis district, in Tangerang regency Friday. , 

They had gathered at the factory to ask for unpaid salaries and severance. ,

"We've been trying to get our money since 2006 but to no avail," he said.

The company, which once employed 6,300 workers, was shut down because of financial difficulties. -- JP
