when do we start to see that this is also global phenomenon? it's like us starting to love american life style, enjoying thai food, or even speaking in foreign languages. so, please let other people free to express whatever culture suit them. Be it arabic, western, eastern or even baduy. Let us stop labeling, prejudicing one culture as being worse than others. Instead, let's ask ourselves whether we have concerns over "more important issues". Have a look at the comments on The Jakarta Post's Business articles, for example. Vacant, ain't it?

Do you really think God who made us with skin and eyes and lips expected us to then cover it all up? if that was, the case when he made us, he would have taken this into account and have female humans with no face or eyes etc...it's sad that people can be so brain washed and can't think for themselves....i don't pity them because they are followers, they should be leaders and think with a brain.

I don't understand why Indonesian people are easy to receive middle east culture. These cultures defeated local cultures which for the long time known have the great and unique culture. Why Indonesia is not confidence with its own culture!!!!!!!

Unbelievable! This picture shows us that Indonesia is very opened to any culture influences from other countries including Arabian tradition. In positive thinking, this Arabian tradition hopefully could counter any western traditions that have been giving negative effect to our people's moral. As long as they cover their body in propotional, we should not worried to their moral damage.
