Earthquake hits Fakfak

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Fakfak in West Papua Province on Monday morning.

The Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) reported that the epicenter of quake was located 137 kilometers southwest of Fakfak, at a depth of 20 kilometres below the sea level.

There were no victims and damage reported.(ast)
